Perched above the Hudson River, with its ever-changing
backdrop and open vistas, we designed this apartment to frame key views as
locus points to each room. In the dining room, a stone and steel wet bar is
tucked into an oak-clad wall, the table expands to seat sixteen guests and
offers sunset views over the river. On a daily basis, the family dines in the
more intimate breakfast room where a corner banquette is nested beside the
kitchen. A large glass sliding panel can provide privacy or be left to connect
to the rest of the apartment.
