Our work explores the role of architecture as translator between the tangible and the intangible and in how form can be derived from a syncopation with natural forces. We consider the reuse of buildings not just as a sustainable practice but also as a cultural conversation that stitches a thread through time and place.
The office is currently working on buildings dating from three different centuries on three continents. Our built work includes residences, offices, artists’ studios, and institutional spaces.
Goetz holds a Master of Architecture from Princeton University and a BA from Wellesley College in Art and Anthropology. In addition to her practice, she teaches undergraduate- and graduate-level studios, seminars, and drawing courses, currently at Columbia University GSAPP and Princeton University.
